1989 年 3 月 20 日に最初の光州民俗資料に指定されたイ・ジャンウ邸は、門、物置、使用人宿舎、離れ、母屋を備えた瓦屋根の上流階級の住宅です。この建物は 1899 年に建てられたと推定されており、全体的に韓国建築の頑丈な例であり、元の状態でよく保存されています。歴史的建造物のL字型の本堂はかなり大きく、左から木の縁側、小部屋、ホール、主室、厨房、小部屋で構成されています。部屋のドアは両開きで、内側が引き戸、外側が開き戸です。ホールには、必要に応じて吊り下げられるパーティションもあります。
