The sunrise seen from Eungbongsan Mountain (94m above sea level) offers a panoramic view of the eastern part of Seoul, including the Han River, Seoul Forest, and Jamsil Stadium. It is visited by photographers and many people as a viewing spot along the Han River, and a sunrise event is held every January 1. In addition, Eungbongsan Mountain, which is also a famous place for forsythia flowers, holds a forsythia festival around April.
