It is a place where the appearance of the old sacred site has been preserved to commemorate the Battle of Myeongrang achieved by Chungmugong in 1597. It was created as a national tourist site in 1986 and the Myeongryang Battle Memorial Park in 1991, and is being used as a historical educational center for the Battle of Myeongryang. At a location overlooking Uldolmok, various experience spaces such as the Turtle Boat are used to run various attractions and experience programs, such as the Myeongryang Battle Festival in October as a Jeollanam-do festival and the Myeongryang History Experience Center on weekends. Statues depicting the battle scenes of the righteous army and government troops during the Japanese invasions of Korea are placed throughout the park, giving you a vivid impression. When you stand at the observatory in the park, you can see the Myeongnyang Strait and Jindo Bridge, the Myeongnyang Battle Tower, a rubbing of the Myeongryang Battle Monument, the Monument to the Great Patriotic War, and the Chungmu Public Relics Exhibition Hall.
