Odaecheon, which flows down from Odaesan Mountain, reaches the majestic mountain Gariwangsan Mountain and White Peak inland and creates Jangtan (Suam Valley), one of the eight scenic spots of Gariwangsan Mountain. The rapids that run against strangely shaped rocks create a spectacular view and meet the Joyang River, which finally gets the name Namhan River. Baekseokbong (1,170m) is a white majestic peak, and there is a legend that it will rain when its color turns black. Looking down from the top, you can see the majestic Gariwangsan Mountain and the winding Jangtan River (Sukam Valley) with azaleas in the spring, autumn leaves in the fall, and white snow in the winter. Together we create paradise on earth. The white spray of Baekseok Falls right next to it splits the rock wall of Baekseok, and the water from Sugam Spring is even purer. Hanggol Tapgol Park, located on the opposite hiking trail, is popular as a summer resort with hundreds of stone pagodas and prayers in jars that make you feel solemn.
