Wondae-ri Birch Forest, a natural eco-tourism site near Inje-eup, was created by planting 690,000 birch trees on 138ha from 1974 to 1995, and currently 25ha of it is operated as a forest experience center for children. You can explore the birch forest on foot after recording your entry at the entrance. You can reach the birch forest by walking along the forest path that starts from the birch forest information center, which is the entrance. There are two forest roads: the Wongwon Forest Road, which takes about 80 minutes on foot, and the Wondae Forest Road, which takes about an hour. As you climb the hiking trail, you will see a dense forest filled with birch trees that are over 20 years old. The white bark of the birch forest stretching towards the sky creates an exotic atmosphere.
This is a space created to discover and provide the ecological, aesthetic, and educational values ​​that only the birch forest holds, and has established itself as a natural eco-tourism destination representing Inje-gun.
