Mindungsan Mountain in Jeongseon is a representative mountain for autumn silver grass hiking and railroad hiking. Mindungsan Mountain is 1,118.8m above sea level and is entirely covered with silver grass, so much so that it can be called Silver Grass Mountain. Up to the 7th ridge of the mountain, there are thick shrubs and miscellaneous trees, and there are almost no trees at the top. The mountain has a gentle slope, and in particular, the autumn silver grass colony that surrounds the mountain in all directions is enough to attract many hikers. The silver grass on Mt. Mindung is almost a length long and is so thick that it is difficult to walk in some areas that are not on the road. The hiking trail is well maintained and easy to climb. There is a forest fire observation post at the top. Located in the central part of Jeongseon-gun, the view is Hambaeksan Mountain to the east, Mt. Jijangsan to the south, Duwibong Mountain and Baekunsan Mountain, Gariwangsan Mountain and Baekseokbong Mountain to the west, Sangwonsan Mountain, Nochusan Mountain, Sangjeongbawi Rock, Gwaebyeongsan Mountain, and Gojeokdae Mountain to the north, and Duta Cheongoksan Mountain and Taebaeksan Mountain in the distance. It is connected to the Hwaam Mineral Springs and connected to the Eight Scenic Views of Hwaam, and is in the spotlight as a hiking course that also serves as a 2-day, 1-night recreation course.
