Eodapsan Mountain means ‘a mountain that the king personally walked on,’ and is said to have been given the name because Park Hyeokgeose of Silla stopped by this mountain while chasing King Taegi of Taegi Mountain. Byeongjib Valley in Eodapsan Mountain tourist attraction is a deep mountain valley that winds along Eodapsan Mountain, and is a clean valley often visited by vacationers in the summer. The clearness of the valley water flowing between large and small rocks is like a beautiful view, drawing admiration from those who see it, and the mountain scenery of Eodapsan Mountain, which surrounds the valley like a folding screen, provides a cool resting place even in the middle of summer. From Hoengseong-eup, go straight to Chudong-ri along County Road No. 4 in the direction of Hoengseong Dam and cross Solgogae, which is the border between Jeonchon-ri and Byeongjibang, and Byeongjig Valley, full of peach trees, will appear. If you go upstream through the winding valley that is as long as 6 kilometers, you will see cold, clear valley water flowing in a wide stream, which is rare in Simsanyu Valley.
