Description of art	Two contrasting images are brought together to compose a painting. In his earlier works Kim Dong-yoo was interested in using small, independent images as units to create large images completely different from the units. In Two Images, however, he brings two different images onto the same space, and make them change their appearances according to the viewers’ viewpoints. Viewers can see, for instance, a tiger in the painting if they see it from the left and a bamboo forest if from the right. The painting provides a fine example to show the artist’s experiment with images and novel techniques used for the experiment.
