Description of art	John Bae has gained international reputation with steel sculptural works exhibiting geometrical forms. The works are largely abstract sculpture but are based on close observation of nature, and reveal certain emotional traits of the East hidden inside the artist. What interests him is the harmony of opposites such as balance and imbalance, and chaos and order in the universe.
