Description of art 〈The Last Day〉(2011) is a work that combines dystopian content and atmosphere with a cartoon format. In particular, this work was produced when Leeje participated in the artist collective The Crawling Landscape. During that time, she showed interest in new media, experimental forms, and concerns about the future to come. She intended to express what she had envisioned when investigating the neoliberal market economy, the process, and the side effects of excessive development are evidential in this work. She ordered and customized three perforated wooden panels and outlined them with black tape-cutting to create a cartoon-like effect. In this piece, the viewer can see the cartoon-like imagination and expression from perspective of the back of a character standing in front of a huge explosion scene.
