Gangneung Dano Culture Center was opened in 2004 and played an important role in the success of Gangneung Danoje (Dano rite and festival) being designated a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage on November 25, 2005. The center consists of an exhibition hall and a performance hall. Visitors from Korea and abroad can easily learn about the Dano traditions through culture lectures. | |||||||
