樂善齋位於昌德宮內，是一座單層建築，採用「二宮」風格（鳥翼形屋簷置於柱子之上），屋頂為四坡瓦和山牆。它的正面有 6 個kan，側面有 2 個kan（柱子之間空間的傳統測量單位）。它原本屬於附近的昌慶宮，但近年來被認為是昌德宮的一部分。
殿建於1846年（顯宗12年），與鄰近的石福軒、水江齋一起統稱為樂善齋。 建築後面是一個由大石頭堆砌而成的花園。煙囪、花朵、奇石和諧地融為一體，構成了一幅出色的園林景觀。 |
