大清湖是一個人工湖，從大田一直延伸到清州市、沃川郡和報恩郡。該湖於 1975 年動工，1980 年竣工，為大田和清州人民提供各種用水。
水庫面積72.8多平方公里，週長80公里，蓄水量15億噸，是韓國第三大湖泊。該地區以其美麗的駕車路線而聞名，沿著綠樹成蔭的道路穿過附近海拔 200 至 300 公尺的山脈。此外，夏季在湖的上游地區還可以看到留鳥和候鳥，例如白鷺。 |
