鏡浦海水浴場以南是草堂豆腐村，以豆腐聞名。 Chodang dubu是用磨碎的豆子和東海的鹽水製成的，豆腐柔軟而輕盈。草堂村的名字來自曾經住在這裡的一個名門望族草堂許業的名字。許燁是作家/詩人許筠（1569~1618）的兒子和詩人許南雪軒（1563~1589）的父親。在許筠和許南雪軒的原址上重建了韓國傳統風格的房屋。
