束草海灘於 1976 年首次開放，是韓國最受歡迎的海灘之一。它距離束草高速巴士總站僅幾步之遙，是遊客的首選。這裡的海水乾淨而淺，增加了這個海灘在夏天的受歡迎程度。海灘附近還有許多餐廳和便利設施，還有一個小公園，公園內有穿過松樹林的步道。沿著海灘，遊客可以找到有趣而獨特的拍照點和雕塑。街頭表演和節慶也全年舉辦。
