昭陽大壩建於 1973 年 10 月，是韓國最大的水壩。它高123米，長530米，可容納水2900萬噸。儲存的水已成為昭陽湖，是韓國最大的人工湖，面積廣闊，與江原道春川、洪川、陽口和麟蹄等城市和地區接壤。遊客可以搭乘渡輪或在2.5公里的步道上散步。各種餐廳和景點也位於附近。
