積石寺是一座傳統佛教寺廟，創建於大約 1,600 年前。它以“甘露亭”而聞名，這是從大雄殿（主要寺廟建築）東側的岩石縫隙中流出的水。雖然水清涼甘甜，但傳說在國家危機時期它會乾涸或變得渾濁。根據記載，八曼大藏經（高麗大藏經木刻版）原本保存在積石寺，之後被轉移到白翎寺，再轉移到傳燈寺，最後轉移到海印寺。
積石寺與洛朝台展望台相連，可欣賞到西海夕陽的壯麗景色。事實上，這裡的景色非常壯麗，被譽為江華島十景之一。 |
