延美亭是仁川有形文化遺產第24號（1995年3月1日指定）。
雖然具體建造日期不詳，但由於1592年日本入侵朝鮮、1636年中國兵子入侵以及1950年6月25日朝鮮戰爭，該亭遭到嚴重損壞，隨後又重建. 燕美這個名字來自臨津江和燕河江的燕尾形狀（「燕」的意思是燕子，「米」的意思是尾巴）。由於展館矗立在月串洞台之上，遊客可以一眼看到黃海道坡州市、金浦市、開豐郡（北韓）。 |
