五木台遺址位於陡峭的山頂上，是後來成為朝鮮王朝第一任國王太祖的李成桂在結束與朝鮮的戰爭回國途中停下來慶祝勝利的地方之一。梧木台過橋就是梨木台遺址，位於勝岩山腳下。從梨木台下坡約80公尺處有紀念石和太祖曾祖父木祖曾經居住過的建築物。石頭上刻的文字是高宗皇帝的手跡。木祖因與當時的全州大臣發生爭執而遷居鹹鏡島，太祖認為這一事件為他塑造朝鮮王朝奠定了基礎。
