全羅南道靈光郡佛甲寺是韓國第一座佛教寺廟。據說，第一位在韓國傳播佛教的印度僧人馬拉南塔 (Marananta) 於 384 年百濟欽留王統治時期在此建立了這座寺廟。
佛甲寺的正殿大雄殿被指定為國寶。大廳門上的圖案以其精美的設計而聞名。寺廟內還有萬色樓、明佛殿、日光堂等其他著名建築，以及被指定為天然紀念物的絹毛新立木樹群。該寺廟也因夏末盛開的神奇百合而聞名。通往佛甲寺的道路是休閒散步和沈思的理想場所。 |
