泰安寺位於同尼山山麓，是新羅景德王統治時期（742 年）由三位僧侶建造的。此後，慧哲和尚在高麗太祖時期建造了一座擁有132間房間的大寺廟，作為同異山地區的中心神學院。境內有惠徹國寺舍利塔、廣子善寺、靈八閣等四寶。該寺廟在朝鮮戰爭期間遭到嚴重破壞，此後又進行了翻新。距離寺廟入口僅1.8公里，即可到達令人神清氣爽的山谷和陰涼的角落。這條步道在秋季非常受歡迎，楓葉鮮豔。
