直指寺位於慶尚北道金泉市皇嶽山麓，建於新羅樂智王二年（418年）。這座寺廟與附近的山谷和松樹林完美融合。秋天的樹葉尤其令人嘆為觀止。寺院內有毘盧殿（又稱天佛殿），殿內供奉約 1000 尊佛像，還有一株具有千年歷史的葛根。寺廟內還包括一柱門、大雄殿和統一新羅時期的 1.63 公尺高的石佛坐像（寶物第 319 號）。
