早期的教堂建築形式主要是韓屋（韓國傳統房屋）風格，因為當時傳教活動剛結束。由於會眾的領袖大多是西方人，他們對這些韓國風格的建築感到不舒服，並開始建造西式教堂。結果，大部分韓式教堂要么消失，要么重建。
然而，江京釜谷衛理公會教堂至今仍保留著韓國風格的建築，使其成為非常獨特且有價值的建築。該建築被視為研究傳統技術向現代技術轉變的重要資料。 |
