新正湖觀光公園於1993年在牙山市芳竹洞地區佔地272,000平方公尺的土地上建立。公園內有草地廣場、百鳥園、野花公園、雕塑公園、青少年設施、8.45公尺高的李舜臣將軍雕像等。旅遊公園入口處的生態公園種植有鬆樹、杜鵑花等多種植物，而雕塑公園則以寬8公尺、高3公尺的大型冰雕吸引冬季的遊客。 位於旅遊公園前的新正湖是一年四季都很受歡迎的釣魚勝地，遊客可以乘坐摩托艇或遊船悠閒地遊覽。
