白蓮寺位於忠清北道堤川市伽瑪山山麓。寺廟目前由正殿大雄殿、三成閣、無菸堂、報恩門和民宅組成。大雄殿供奉一尊木製佛坐像，是朝鮮時期（1392-1910）的文物。
該寺的歷史可以追溯到662年（新羅文武王二年），當時高僧義相在白蓮寺遺址東側建造了一座名為白蓮庵的小寺院。在幾次戰爭的過程中，這座寺廟經歷了多次重建和修復。寺內曾有彌勒寺、神興寺、天水庵、恩帝庵、清蓮庵等許多分寺和神社，但如今僅存其基址。 |
