正房寺位於錦繡山附近神仙峰（845公尺）的山脊上，是新羅文武王二年（662年）由義相僧侶創建的。正房寺是法住寺的分院，位於俗離山，是佛教徒中著名的佛堂。這座寺廟享有清風湖的美妙景色，據說可以平靜和淨化心靈。這座寺廟的一個獨特之處是山牆構成了寺廟屋頂的一部分。
