邊山半島海岸線綿延99公里，伸入全羅北道西海，北臨全球最長的人工海障新萬金，南臨高小滿灣。該半島是邊山半島國家公園的一部分，因其自然美景而聞名。其內部山脈被稱為內邊山（內邊山），而靠近大海的外部地區被稱為外邊山（外邊山）。
內邊山的中心包括邊山半島的最高峰義山峰（509公尺）和落日台、月明庵、峰內谷以及直沼瀑布。邊山周圍的山巒和山谷並不是特別高，海拔在400-500米左右，但壯麗的山巒和山谷以及洛朝台日落的壯麗景色使其成為必去的景點。 |
