東國寺於1909 年由日本僧侶Seoneungbulgwan 建造。式寺廟。
寺廟的特色是大雄殿和禦舍齋兩座主建築透過迴廊相連，而且寺廟相對缺乏裝飾，與韓國寺廟的絢麗色彩形成鮮明對比。東國寺於2003年7月被正式指定為文化財產，現為韓國佛教曹溪宗第24區高敞禪雲寺的分寺。 |
