束草海滩于 1976 年首次开放，是韩国最受欢迎的海滩之一。它距束草高速巴士总站仅几步之遥，是游客的首选。这里的海水干净而浅，增加了这个海滩在夏季的受欢迎程度。海滩附近还有许多餐厅和便利设施，还有一个小公园，公园内有穿过松树林的步行道。沿着海滩，游客可以找到有趣而独特的拍照点和雕塑。街头表演和节日也全年举办。
