沙漏公园被东海、群山和正东津二里村包围。沙漏公园有松树、面朝大海的长椅，并可通往正东津海滩。公园中央有一个巨大的沙漏，尺寸为一年。沙漏公园是江陵市和三星电子公司于 1999 年为纪念即将到来的千禧年而建立的。此次纪念活动的一部分是在公园建造巨型沙漏。该沙漏直径8.06米，x宽3.2米，重40吨，可容纳8吨沙子，是世界上最大的沙漏之一。沙子需要整整一年的时间才能流到底部，然后每年元旦午夜沙漏又重新开始。
