阿拉水道从汉江流经西海，全长18公里。该水道于 2012 年开通，旨在快速排除周围地区多余的水，以防止洪水泛滥。该水道也是船舶运输货物的主要路线，也是天然绿地。
阿拉水道的构想始于近 800 年前的朝鲜王朝时期，由高宗国王提出。不幸的是，由于技术障碍和国家的困难状况，他的计划当时未能完成。经过无数努力和准备，该航道于2009年开工建设，2012年通车。 |
