白莲寺位于德裕山九千洞溪谷的上部。相传新罗时期，这里盛开着白莲花，因此被称为白莲寺。该寺庙是茂朱九川洞地区建造的 14 座寺庙中唯一仅存的一座。走过寺庙入口处的白翎桥，就会来到石阶。顶部是主要的圣殿。主殿的雄伟和美丽与山脉相得益彰。主殿内的木造三尊佛石佛推测是朝鲜后期建造的。过了明府殿就是白莲寺的祠碑碑，其雕刻的书法工艺非常受人尊敬。
