东国寺于 1909 年由日本僧侣 Seoneungbulgwan 建造。这座寺庙在日本占领期间由日本僧侣经营了 36 年，1945 年韩国解放后又恢复到韩国管辖。这座历史悠久的寺庙是韩国唯一幸存的日式寺庙。国家。
寺庙的特点是大雄殿和御舍斋两座主建筑通过回廊相连，而且寺庙相对缺乏装饰，与韩国寺庙的绚丽色彩形成鲜明对比。东国寺于2003年7月被正式指定为文化财产，现为韩国佛教曹溪宗第24区高敞禅云寺的分寺。 |
