全罗南道灵光郡佛甲寺是韩国第一座佛教寺庙。据说，第一位在韩国传播佛教的印度僧人马拉南塔 (Marananta) 于 384 年百济钦留王统治时期在此建立了这座寺庙。
佛甲寺的正殿大雄殿被指定为国宝。大厅门上的图案以其精美的设计而闻名。寺庙内还有万色楼、明佛殿、日光堂等其他著名建筑，以及被指定为天然纪念物的绢毛新立木树群。该寺庙还因夏末盛开的神奇百合而闻名。通往佛甲寺的道路是休闲散步和沉思的理想场所。 |
