沿着蟾津江从智异山山麓流下，有一个种满梅树的村庄。这个村庄叫蟾津村，因其盛产梅树而被称为梅花村。农田里不种植庄稼和谷物，而是种植梅树，三月开出白雪般的花朵，六月结出硕果累累的成熟李子。每年三月梅花盛开时，村里都会举办一年一度的梅花节。
