位于高城郡德明里的古化石遗址是世界上最大的白垩纪恐龙化石遗址之一。它是各种古代物种的大量足迹的所在地，也是迄今为止发现的最大的中生代鸟类足迹。来自许多不同史前时代的地层使其成为学术研究恐龙生活模式、古代自然环境和地层、海洋和陆地分布以及鸟类物种进化的珍贵场所。这里也是一个风景优美的旅游胜地，海岸线上散布着美丽的闲丽岛、独特的岩层和悬崖以及海蚀洞。
