宫南池（史迹第135号）位于书洞公园内，是韩国第一个人工池塘，由百济王朝的武王建造，他与善花公主相爱并最终结婚。宫南池，韩语字面意思是皇宫南边的一个池塘，根据《三国史记》而得名。
据《三国史》记载，武王在位35年（634年）在宫殿南边挖了这个湖，并用一条7800米长的水道连接到水源。国王于是在岸边种了柳树，并在湖中央建造了一个人工土丘。 |
