八峰山如屏风般伸展，巍然耸立，气势磅礴。据了解，这座山因有八座山峰排列而得名“八峰”（韩语“八峰”）。实际上有九个山峰，但最小的一个没有包括在内。传说每年十二月底，最小的孩子都会因为被排除在外而哭泣。第三峰最高，海拔362米，景色优美，空气清新，非常适合徒步（行程3小时）和山顶休息。洪川还有一座同名的山，所以这座山通常被称为“瑞山八峰山”。
