新正湖观光公园于1993年在牙山市芳竹洞地区占地272,000平方米的土地上建立。公园内有草地广场、百鸟园、野花公园、雕塑公园、青少年设施、8.45米高的李舜臣将军雕像等。旅游公园入口处的生态公园种植着松树、杜鹃花等多种植物，而雕塑公园则以宽8米、高3米的大型冰雕吸引着冬季游客。 位于旅游公园前的新正湖是一年四季都很受欢迎的钓鱼胜地，游客可以乘坐摩托艇或游船悠闲地游览。
