白莲寺位于忠清北道堤川市伽玛山山麓。寺庙目前由正殿大雄殿、三成阁、无烟堂、报恩门和民居组成。大雄殿供奉着一尊木制佛坐像，是朝鲜时期（1392-1910）的文物。
该寺的历史可以追溯到662年（新罗文武王二年），当时高僧义相在白莲寺遗址东侧建造了一座名为白莲庵的小寺院。在几次战争的过程中，这座寺庙经历了多次重建和修复。寺内曾经有弥勒寺、神兴寺、天水庵、恩帝庵、清莲庵等许多分寺和神社，但如今仅存其基址。 |
