正房寺位于锦绣山附近神仙峰（845米）的山脊上，是新罗文武王二年（662年）由义相僧人创建的。正房寺是法住寺的分院，位于俗离山，是佛教徒中著名的佛堂。这座寺庙享有清风湖的美妙景色，据说可以平静和净化心灵。这座寺庙的一个独特之处是山墙构成了寺庙屋顶的一部分。
