新王寺位于露积山。估计建于160年前，1920年由住持李庆稷重新修缮。这座寺庙最初被称为 Togoljeol 或 Suryangsa，1980 年由僧人 Hyewon 更名为 Singwangsa。游客会发现这座寺庙充满了青春的活力。虽然该寺庙的历史很短，但由于其位置靠近弘益大学世宗校区，因此受到大学生的欢迎。
