|
望海寺位于金堤平原海边的边缘。该寺位于金峰山山顶。 该寺因可眺望大海和稻田而得名。该寺是百济义子王二年（公元642年）由高僧浮世巨寺创建的。多年后，多法寺（中国唐代高僧）重修了这座寺庙。朝鲜仁祖时期，高僧真目大寺于 1589 年建造乐西殿，寺庙再次被改建。普光殿和七星阁于 1933 年建成。望海寺的独特之处在于它是唯一的寺庙。陆地和海洋上都可以看到遥远的地平线。附近的景点包括穿过万庆江河畔芦苇丛的步道以及海上日落美景。
