五木台遗址位于陡峭的山顶上，是后来成为朝鲜王朝第一任国王太祖的李成桂在结束与朝鲜的战争回国途中停下来庆祝胜利的地方之一。日军在黄山云峰峰。梧木台过桥就是梨木台遗址，位于胜岩山脚下。从梨木台下坡约80米处有纪念石和太祖曾祖父木祖曾经居住过的建筑物。石头上刻的文字是高宗皇帝的手迹。木祖因与当时的全州大臣发生争执而迁居咸镜岛，太祖认为这一事件为他塑造朝鲜王朝奠定了基础。
