竿月自然休养林位于“岭南阿尔卑斯山”的竿月山上。森林内设有森林浴道、训练场、登山步道、儿童游乐场、网球场、天文台等各种户外休闲设施。森林内的露营地最多可容纳700人，并有小型烹饪区、淋浴设施、运动场和其他各种便利设施。森林用于企业培训和教育、公司野餐、学生迎新活动、俱乐部野餐和各种其他社交活动。
