观门寺位于首尔瑞草区牛眠山山麓，于1993年奠基，1998年10月竣工。
寺址总面积22148.76平方米，地上七层，地下四层。该寺庙融合了现代和传统的佛教建筑设计。寺庙内使用最先进的设施举办各种文化活动、会议和神圣仪式。 该寺庙毗邻清溪山、牛眠山和良才川，靠近许多可供游客游览的自然景点。特别是观门寺所在的牛眠山（海拔293m），因山势酷似卧牛而得名。牛眠山被指定为城市公园，由首尔市政府管理，拥有数条泉水清澈的山谷和茂密的森林，栖息着多种动植物。 |
