Khai trương vào ngày 4 tháng 5 năm 2001, Vườn ươm Midongsan ở Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do là vườn ươm cấp tỉnh, được xây dựng để phát triển và phổ biến các kỹ thuật lâm nghiệp cũng như tìm ra môi trường giáo dục sinh thái.
Có diện tích 3.114.049,60㎡ (942.000 pyeong), vườn ươm có gần 873 loài thực vật và 652.000 cây trong 11 phòng triển lãm bao gồm sảnh cây sồi, phòng cây phong và phòng di truyền, nơi trưng bày các nguồn gen thực vật như Jeongipumsong Hugemok (sự nối tiếp của cây thông). Ngoài 11 phòng vườn ươm theo chủ đề, Vườn ươm Midongsan còn có phòng giáo dục lâm nghiệp, ngân hàng hạt giống cây trồng, trung tâm nghiên cứu thực vật hoang dã, trại trải nghiệm thiên nhiên, v.v. |
