화암약수터는 화암8경 중 하나로 탄산수를 공급해 위장병과 피부병에 좋다고 합니다. 흥미롭게도 계곡을 흐르는 하천물은 그냥 평범한 민물이다. 그 이유는 물이 지하에서 나오는 길에 다양한 종류의 암석을 통과하기 때문입니다.
