육림고개는 과거 유림극장(현재 폐쇄)과 춘천중앙시장을 연결하는 거리로, 1980년대부터 1990년대까지 비공식 도심이 되었다. 신도시 프로젝트 이후 매장들은 신시가지로 이전했고, 그 지역은 비어 있었다. 2015년에는 막걸리 거리와 청년몰로 거리가 활력을 되찾았다. 이 거리에는 트렌디한 스타일과 아날로그적인 느낌이 결합된 레스토랑과 상점이 즐비합니다.
