쉽게 마르는 제주도의 대부분의 하천과 달리, 서귀포시 강정마을 동쪽에 위치한 강정천은 사계절 내내 맑은 물이 흐른다. 하천의 길이는 16km에 달하며 7개의 작은 연못, 6개의 다리, 13개의 폭포가 있습니다. 시냇물 양쪽에 있는 노송과 기암괴석이 어우러져 자연경관이 매우 좋습니다.
천연기념물인 은어와 원앙 떼가 서식하는 하천입니다. 여름철에는 깨끗한 물과 편안한 환경으로 피서객들로 붐빈다. |
